Almost there 9-23-2024

Hello everyone who reads these emails. Not too sure how many of you there are anymore but thanks for sticking with me through these last 2 years. Next Wednesday on October 2nd I'll be hopping on an airplane and flying home. Crazy how fast it's coming up so we're going to lock in this next week and give it everything we got. Our friend Scott who was supposed to get baptized a week or so ago got covid so we met with him yesterday and finalized plans for his baptism which will be happening on Sunday which is like 3 days before I fly out so it's kind of like a buzzer beater baptism but he really wants me to do it and he's excited. My companion and I have been visiting all the friends and teaching all the lessons and he is learning a lot and it's been really fun to see both ends of the spectrum of a brand new missionary and about to finish missionary. It's been a while 5-13-2024

  It's been a while since I wrote an email. A lot has happened! So our friend Asia did get baptized! It was an incredible service. Her leg was still hurting from the bus accident so she stood for the duration of the entire service and when she walked into the font and I baptized her she said there was no pain in her legs which was a miracle. She has been coming to church to an earlier ward because she had a Sunday work schedule but just this week she was able to shift that around so we're looking forward to having her come to her ward and grow in the gospel.  In other news I have been quite busy with some of the craziest things I've seen in my life. I thought this area couldn't get any sketchier but alas it has .... We are teaching a friend named Clarice and we showed up to her house for a lesson and there were six cop cars in the front yard. What do you know about the North Side? 10-23-2023

  We were in the north side of our area, and we were looking for a friend named Korey who missionaries have not contacted in a long time. There was this random guy leaf blowing the parking lot and it turned out he was Korey and he invited us inside his home because he said they were evil spirits inside of his bedroom and inside of his wife. We went inside and offered a prayer to bless the home and then I offered a blessing upon his wife and that was a really cool experience because right before she was super irritable and mad at her husband but afterwards she was crying and laughing and super happy so that was a testimony to me of priesthood power. This week I also went on an exchange with my zone leader Elder Keller who I served around in Moscow. This was his first time in his mission on a bike and he had the time of his life.
