Happy Sunday afternoon 1-15-2023

Hello son, hope you are enjoying your Sabbath day in Idaho! I have been meaning to write for a while but you know life has been crazy busy around here. We are finally starting to feel settled in our house. We still have lots of boxes to unpack but it's my office and craft room stuff mostly and I don't need that all right now, although I have yet to find my can opener and it has been so frustrating! This house isn't big enough for all my things and so they are in a pile in the corner. Oh well. I am sure you saw the pictures I posted on the fam google drive with all the trees being cut down. All day yesterday dad cut up wood and we moved it to the wood pile or the burn pile. We got a ton done but still have a lot of work ahead of us. The wood is still really green and therefore so HEAVY to move. We were really missing you and Justin's help although Branson did awesome. Once we get a wood burning stove in place we will be set for a while. I am sure the neighbors aren't happy we are cutting trees down but they were dying and huge and right next to our house so they had to go.

We have yet to go do any exploring or sight seeing since we have been here because we have been busy and the weather has been all over the place to. Wanted to get out for a walk today but it was pretty windy and I didn't want to deal with that. They are getting snow back home so I still prefer our weather over theirs. It's supposed to be in the 50s to 60's this week so I am happy about that.
I finally sent a text to the Rosin's today and she said they did in deed put their house up for sale but depending on when it sells and where they end up I am not sure but they are ready to get out of Michigan. They said they will start looking around in February for where they want to go, wouldn't it be funny if they did come out this way?!
Your brothers have been troopers they have not complained at all about this move, even though I am sure it's been hard for them. They are adjusting well and will like what this place has to offer I think.
We are proud of you and what you are doing out there son, I know a mission is hard. Lots of change, lots of limitations and the sense that you are missing out but the Lord is very aware of you and the sacrifices you are making. He will bless you ten fold. 2 years is but a small time in the comparison of the scheme of life. You will forever be blessed for your service. I am proud of you and the changes I see in you. I miss you like crazy but know there is no place I would rather you be right now. Keep up the faith and keep up the good work. Please feel free to ask me if you ever need anything. I love you so much son!!

I am attaching a copy of the notes I took during your setting apart. Read them and cherish them, there are special promises in there for you just like your patriarchal blessing!
